The blood issue is a biggie for me too. Learning the truth about all the blood and organ transplant changes started me on learning TTATT. When I was born there were complications and I needed a transfusion. My mom signed documents refusing me the life saving procedure. My non JW dad told the docs/nurses to lose the documents and to save my life.

The view or belief that if a family member leaves the “truth” you must shun them and have little to no contact with them.
I have to tread lightly with this wonderful teaching because of my mom and sister. Its been about 3 and a half years since I’ve seen them and Im making plans to fly to see them in the next couple months. My mom seems ok with it but my sister is a little apprehensive.

The news reports "facts" found on Twitter and Facebook. Nothing surprises me anymore.

This was accidentally reported on a news station in California. The later released an apology.

Oh, Kwap! Now they're REALLY getting on my nerves!
by stillin inonce in a great while, i stop by a local repair shop and enjoy a cigar with the owner.
he's a great guy with a lot on his mind and we always have a lot to talk about.
last time i was there i noticed a watchtower on his counter with an actual pen on top of it!

The Gestapo… lol. That was what we called the body of elders in Washington state when I was growing up. They were known by many of the congregations around the area as the body of Gestapo. I don’t miss that hall at all.
As far as cigars, I have been smoking one or 2 a month for the last few months. I love it. Good luck on damage control.
